The number of women in lead positions in the research committees of the International Gas Union (IGU) is rising; 7 of the 11 committees have a woman in the role of either Chair, Vice Chair, Secretary or Study Group Leader. This was celebrated at the IGU biannual council meetings in London this week. Amongst the women attending the meetings were Barbara Jinks, Director of Ready4H2, and GRDF Arancha Boden, Head of EU and International Affairs with GRDF (a member of Ready4H2).
