The German Hydrogen Transition: Managing the Complexity of Technical and Commercial Issues

For the 8th webinar in the Ready4H2 series, Prof Dr Gerald Linke, CEO of the German Gas and Water Association (DVGW) presented an overview of the strategic steps that DVGW has taken since 2010 to guide the German gas industry towards a new hydrogen-driven future, including gas Distribution System Operators (DSO).

The strategy addressed the needs of government departments and key stakeholders, as new questions arose at each new stage of the hydrogen development. This comprised:
